LOL How My Thread I Voted was received, I was referring to Burns of BCO allowing me to Arty on BF2 Maps when we play on Wednesday Nights. He said He would let me Arty if I would vote for Bluehair for President. Wow did you guys Blow that out of proportions. Burns said if I would support Bluehair for President he would allow me to use Arty when there was less than 16 players in a game. Read the BF2 Thread. LOL Burns Did you Get It?

And Petri Had to close the Thread LoL!

The last thing BF2 needs is to make it easier on pilots. They are the single biggest thing that will make me leave a game when there is an uber pilot out there racking up 100 points + per round.

How about doing away with team killing all together?? As a pilot, that would be sweet. Nothing makes you feel worse than to have someone call in a tank call, you get there, see the tank and bomb it, killing the tank and 3 team members...really sucks..my 1/4 cent worth.(lost 1/4 cent in the stock market)

hey Levitra, i just got back from Aviation Nation air show, in Las Vegas.
the good news is, i had a blast! the bad news: i put it to a vote in the
membership section, and it was 2 in favor, 6 against. KJ stated well the feelings of
BCO and artillery, on the server. sorry about the mix-up and the other thread - i
scratched my head as people started posting, because i knew what you meant.

in all fairness, i did say i would put it to a membership vote, because i'm not the
only BCO that donates for the server. i do not doubt you backed BlueHair, he is
"A Troubled Man For Troubled Times". . .

You're allowed to go wherever you want. Feel free to fight. Keen does it all the time. As for sitting in armor, we don't allow people to go into non-capturable bases (which is where armor usually spawns) unless they're Spec Ops. We don't allow them to shoot up people once they've blown up stuff. They are allowed to steal vehicles, but they're not allowed to kill anyone, less a c4 blast from an exploding asset.

Personaly, I don't have a problem with a commander hopping into a tank real quick to kill a guy in the base and then hopping back out. The point behind the commander not being in armor is that a lot of tards sit in armor just to get their hours.

And yes, I have tried the herding cats thing. A cattle prod works very well. ;)

True, KayJay, but I am an extraordinary commander.

Also, when you have so few people and, as often is not, armor sitting around not being used, you darn well be certain I will use it to keep the enemy from using it.

Besides, with under 16 players, what is the commander supposed to do? Sit in the Commander screen all game? Common, have you tried commanding a team when they (non-OMO and non-BCO) just won't listen? It's like herding cats.

Honestly, I think when you are up by over 100 points in a match (or just dominating in general), you should stick your arty up your...well, don't use it. You're already humiliating the crap out of the other guys and you should make it a little more fun by not raining on them every minute.

I was on a map the other night getting the crap beat out of my side and they just kept arty'ing us over and over on their way to a 200+ point victory. Obviously, if your teamwork is that good, you should be grateful to even have someone willing to oppose you and not be an ass about the stomping you give out.

Valid reasons:

No arty under 16 players:
- Any less and all the players are @ one flag when it comes to capturing. On flying maps, there is even less people @ a flag cause there are pilots not really doing anything, so it's even less.
- If you really think about it, if you arty 7 guys @ one flag, you're robbing your teammates from points because nobody survives.
- Not to mention that if your team takes out the squad by the time that you get there, then you just killed your own team.

No commanding from ground armor and airborne vehicles:
- How can the commander command if they're in a tank shooting @ people in the midst of battle? Even if they're in a chopper, gunning, how can they lead the team to victory if they have to be shooting at other targets and helping defeat other choppers?
- If the commander is sitting in the driver seat of a vehicle, and they're in the commander menu, the vehicle is in use by a person that doesn't need it. However, the ground pounder that does need it, can't use it cause the commander is sitting in it doing nothing.
- Honestly, we're playing a game where teamwork and efficency decide whether or not you win or loose.

UNFAIR!!!!

I want a recount of all people on the server when I play to include those who will be joining too, cause they threaten to kick me whenever I arty with less than 16. Next they will tell me I cannot command and drive a tank at the same time.
