Posted - Nov 17 2008 : 12:46:04 I think far more important than a bunch of corroded artillery shells was the fact the Iraqis had kept their "cook books" (all their R&D) for making new weapons and had starter cell/virus for bio weapons (it was found in their bio weapon scientist's freezer).
They could have been back in full production of all of the above within 6 months of the removal of the sanctions and inspection program and it was breaking down rapidly at the time we went to war.
Of course, that story was not beneficial to the assassination of the Bush presidency and so went untold in the press.
I will say no more so as not to put this in the thth category.
