Any thoughts on brink? seen some trailers and game play, most notable feature you can change your class back at your spawn point or something similar. Looks like a Road Warrior meets Star ship troopers.

Portal 2 rocks, best game I've played in a loooong time. The voice acting is top notch. In Portal 2 arrogant female computer voice, "Test results are in, you're a horrible, horrible, person. Strange, we weren't even testing for that. Probably why your mother abandoned you."

HB, Portal (and the new one Portal 2) are great, and I do mean great, games. They are single player (with 2 player co op). First one was way too short, but fun to have the back story for th second one if you can get it cheap. Portal 2 is the game of the year so far for me, but do remember its just single player. Valve has also announced DLC content coming this summer for Portal 2, and apparently the first DLC will be free.

My wife bought me BRINK for Christmas (pre-order) and while it has a lot of neat features, I can't say I"m gong to play it much.

It takes the best features from several games and it centers around objective based matches like "protect the hacker", "blow up this wall", "fix the crane" etc, and the teams duke it out. It's enjoyable but not two thumbs up.

The SP is not much different. No plot at all, just individual missions with objectives and time limits. Some you really struggle to complete solo as well. AI is basically brain dead.

There you have it.

What about Portal? Anybody know anything about this game? I have a PC Gamer mag on my desk that I haven't looked at yet but on the cover is the little white guy and the headline says it's the number one game.

I was looking at it, but the reviews where horrible. Got a 6 / 10 on most reviews, so I am skipping.
