Posted - Jan 08 2003 : 13:25:57 Do you have to join a game and THEN select your army combos before it launches?! I hated the way MC2 did it and you waited seeming forever for the game to start as peeps configured their drop mechs.Especially if the game itself lasts less than a half hour. |

That being said, I would imagine that when you launch, the only options you have as far as an army goes are those in which you have already built one and have it ready and waiting to select. Thus, there will be no last minute "oh, let me try this combo", you will launch and then perhaps select a particular 9 group army you had already put together. But tonight (barring router issues I'll find out. |

Posted - Jan 08 2003 : 14:08:08 The way beta worked was you entered the game room, selected a team, then selected your army. Your army was pre-made in the army configuration room. As soon as everyone got on the right teams and checked in the host could start the game. It all went pretty quick.
