They should be sending you an e-mail, but in case you miss it: unless your character is level 35 or higher, their name will be moved from an reserved status after the account has been innactive for 90 days. This means somone can then take the name at which point when you log on and select that character to play, you will have to chose a new name.
Only until you log into a character will their name be moved from unreserved back to reserved. |

Posted - Oct 11 2005 : 22:25:46 Nope, no character deletions, just freeing names.
Here is the dirt on CoH and CoV: you pay the same fee for both games on the same account as you would one game (2 for 1 special) and you get 4 additional character slots. Slots are shared between combined CoH and CoV accounts which is why you get 4 more and names are shared between the two games - so you can't have a Hero named Dark Grifter and a Villain named Dark Grifter, it is one or the other. Base building will be in the game and PvP optional.
So yeah, Festus, you can pick up CoV, upgrade your CoH account with the CoV serial and get a free month of play as a Hero and Villain. Eventually, in an issue or two, Heroes can go bad and Villains can go good. |

Posted - Oct 11 2005 : 19:48:05 I've no plans to return to CoH or CoV at this time. Nice feature tho is that if you buy CoV there is no additional suscription fee, just keep paying what you are paying.
If they delete Dark Grifter its their loss!!!! |
