BC - I approve all initially. Once the approval goes past 7 days (which is when the date turns red) I delete them.

Best way to start BP, delete all .ru is a definite. You then just select all No members and approve them. If they take no action in 15 days, I delete them. Lately I just approve all, even the .ru and let them run over a week with the opportunity to prove they are not bots by completing registration.

I just deleted all the applications that have users who end in .ru or other than .com/.net.

That took care of half of them. I do not know what our usual policy is for the rest, but if someone sends me a PM with the typical way of handling applicants, I will keep them up to date.
