I don't plan on building a new rig until this summer, maybe even fall. Current rig is doing just fine. First all new system in 3 years |

Tell her you need it because Bloody is always kicking your a** in BF2142. hmmm wait a minute, I may need that excuse. LOL
Vista can probably wait until next year unless you run a dual boot. XP for games and Vista for.....uhh............uhhh.........what was I talking about?
As for the R600, it looks like there may be price wars to start off when it launches. I think they are hinting that it may be the same as an 8800 for price but alot faster.
With no new hot games titles due to release in the next 6 months, the point of upgrading may be Moo.
Moo, you know, what cows says and no one listens to them. |

Posted - Feb 21 2007 : 12:16:03 Wait a minute, the games need to catch up with the cards first. Right now more powerfull cards designed to rival the house heating system give little extra to the gamer unless he/she is using a 24 inch monitor at max resolution. I know that 'cause my 7950GX2 is barely trying with the current games on a 19 inch LCD.
