my video card or CPU (or MoBo). I don't think it is the CPU or MoBo, but you never know. What I think is that my Radeon 9000 is not colling properly. The fan appears to be working, but after a minute of running City of Heroes the FPS drop to nada.

Hmmmm.... what do ya'll think?

the newest catalyst driver for that card, for that OS is 6.11 i believe.
i like the small footprint win2k has, it's not as easy to troubleshoot as XP.

if i remember right, the msc will tell you of any conflicts . . .

I suppose I was vague.

It was the app (City of Heroes) in relation to win2k. Still diagnosing the full issue.

will this happen in any other application, game, webpage etc.?

i'm inclined to think software if no other apps are affected . . .
