Posted - Aug 15 2009 : 00:56:54 Studio quality headset, but it has a 1/4" plug as opposed to the 1/8th your computer jack uses. Used them a lot until Creative refused to make updated drivers for Vista thus forcing you to upgrade to newer equipment if you wanted to use Creative. So I bought a Razor sound card instead. Works peachy for gaming but I miss the 1/4" jack. Went with the Logitech Headphone with mic deal. Have a couple Logitech packages still unopened since I bought them cheap from PC Club before it went out of business.
Anyways... fun stuff. |

Posted - Aug 14 2009 : 07:09:57 I had them HB w/o the razer card. They worked fine until I got called out of my game and ripped the cord out !!!!!!!! My Creative Hi-Fi card had all I needed for the set. The cord was too short and that was the problem. I guess I could get an extension and avoid that problem. They were a great sound though.
This set has gotten great reviews too.

Posted - Aug 13 2009 : 20:06:45 I tell you I have had them both. But..I got the Razor headphones and I love them. I do believe you have to have the Razor audio card to use them though. But, so far, it's been a good investment.. |

Posted - Aug 13 2009 : 18:23:11 Fossil. That was unkind.
This is not Too hot to handle.
Unfortunately Nose, I don't follow wireless headsets much due to potential issues ranging from batteries going out in the middle of use, people sniffing the signal, and being too darn cheap to spend that kind of money for something with decent sound.
BUT, hopefully someone who uses one will chime in.
Fossil, bad boy. Gets dem orks in line. |
