....for my dad. He's retired but is doing consulting work. Would like to set him up with his own professional email..something like

heartburn@heartburnconsulting.com

Is thee a cheap or easy way to do this?

Yeah, try GoDaddy. They have a "full service" thing where you can set up email, email forwarding, etc. You have to register the domain, which is cheap the first year, but goes up to around $15 each following year.

I think you have the register a domain for that. Have you looked @ www.godaddy.com?
