I just got a letter from Royal Trust Financial announcing that I had just won the second tier of their lottery..

Ya, right. the address is in Ontario, Canada they sent me a check for $4735.00 saying it was part of the winnings and all I have to do is cash it and send a money gram within 5 days, in the amount of #3850.00 US dollars to pay the Non-resident taxes.
I looked up the name online and found this: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/263/RipOff0263359.htm, and http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/149/RipOff0149728.htm.

This is a classic scam, you cash their bad check then send them your good money before the bank can tell you their check is bad.

the worst part is that you had to look it up to see if it was a scam. =P

Ok, I confess. it's not that bad. the spelling is getting better on the stuff that shows up in my spam box.
