On the TeamATI server in a game of 6 V. 6:

One side BB[R]PvtSnipA22 with these stats:
Points 404 Team -2 Kills 203 Deaths 6
Other side Liquidfire with:
Points 397 Team ? Kills 395 Deaths 1

I know neither one killed me the entire game.

now adays, all you can do is operate your server as cleanly as you can and not worry about the other guy unless it's pretty blatant, then collect proof and.... well a private server is not a democracy.

The badge and ribbon part of my sig I go thru BF2s.com and only use that part, they have stats also but they don't update as often as the tracker site does, plus that ribbon and badge part does not have any medals on it which is a shame

Tread, I checked out that msxsecurity site. I guess I'm just to trusting. I never would have imagined so many people cheating. I'm not sure what all their latest hack does, but from some of the comments of those using it, it's undetectible by PB and gives them a distinct advantage, such as being able to see you through walls and a radar of opponents positions. I know I'm not one of the better players in the game, but this explains some of the things that have happened and me muttering "how could he do that"? I don't know how someone can feel good about having high scoring stats if they had to cheat to do it. I think the least we can ask for is a level playing field and if the other guy is a better player, fine, my compliments and no complaints.

yup i too have been a server admin and part owner for years and we used to idle/jump to other side and "observe" when we thought someone was cheating.

The sad reality is that all of the cheats keep comin, PB can’t even control 15% of em. These selfish morons have no life and will continue to ruin it for everyone.

I’ve admin on multiple servers, both DOD and BF and the one thing I have learned after years is that if you think something is weird or strange 9 times out of 10 I found someone was cheating somehow. I remember at one point many clan members left because they felt they were becoming police and not actually enjoying the game anymore… sad.

Depending on your server rules are what we would do is ban first if suspicious and ask questions later. It’s your right and no one else’s as most im sure don’t pay for the server etc… If someone truly feels they are innocent they can just plead there case in the forums.

Excuse my ranting but the cheat thing has always been a sensitive issue with me

maybe that answers my question.
i've played in a few games where there is a tank at a distance shooting at me, and i can only see him if i turn to just the right degree. any little bit off, and he disappears - no fog, just there, then not there, but always a guy at a distance, never happened close up, so i just thought it was a distance view bug or something.

and with a score like what you posted....you SHOULD be accusing someone! i got a record score (for me) last night on your server, but my global was only 100 (figures that when i get a record score, someone else same game beats it by 4!!!)

lol, I had the same thing happen too, I think even the same game....It was like he was there then not kinda of blinking, if you will.I tried to shoot him he just killed me. I thought I was having an issue with my vcard but funny thing is haven't happened since that game.

Yea people started writing code the first day of release of the demo..you just have to watch for it..and ther is a way to view PB screenies..just not real familiar with it...

Tread, Think I had someone using that fog hack against me wednesday night shooting me with a tank while I was in a tank and I was moving but I could not see him at all because of the fog of war thing but I would just see this shell coming out of nowhere hitting me, he killed me like 6 times by doing that I finally got fed up and left the server. When I was able to see him first and starting hitting his tank he wasn't taking any damage and I would still die in 1 to 2 shots from him while I have hit him 4 times. He also knew exactly where I was behind a wall. I checked out that link you put up and both these things are enabled in that hack.

If you really want to know..This was posted in our admin forums a while back..We try to keep tabs on these kinds of guys.It looks like these guys keeep updating though..maybe it sould get leaked to the PB group to see if there is somthing that can be done...

Tylus. Highlite and delete "[url=http://bf2tracker.com/bf2_userprofile.php?userid=59632]" and "[/url]" which you can find before and after your stats in your profile signature.
Hope that makes sence. it worked for me.
