im trying to play bf1942. i did a fresh install and tried to play online, but it said i have incorrect version. at this point i could see alot of servers. so i went and downloaded the latest patch, 1.6, and the incremental 1.61. now when i log on i see no servers at all. any help wud be appreciated.

My disk is like 1.2 or somthing...So Id have alot of patching...But ill keep looking to see what up...oh and try the DCF mod..Thats what hooked alot of OMO..LOL

the 1,6 patch is for an out of box install, 290 meg, then the 1.61, is a server patch. so did 160, then 161.

ouch..that brings back old memories..Ill do some reserch..LOL

Ok so I went to File Planet...THer last patch was from 1.6.19 to 1.61b

Before that was 1.5 to 1.6.19

I didnt find a full patch up against all teh incremental..wich would really suck if I ever reloaded it..Ill keep on the look out.

Oh and what version do you have when you do a fresh install?
