Posted - Oct 08 2010 : 13:16:26 Yeah, the mountain map is top class in my book. Really well made from start to finish. Hope the other MP maps have a good mix of things and more like the mountain maps for sure! |

Posted - Oct 07 2010 : 07:50:51 Agree with you Bloody. MoH is the striped down CoD game I've been waiting for. Kill streaks are not overwhelming like they can be in CoD. CoD BO videos show a very arcade type game, kinda of tired of that. At first I thought MoH would be a flash in the pan game to hold me until BO arrives. Now I think I'm going to be playing MoH more than BO.
Not having issues with snipers, one will get me from time to time though, remember to zig zag. lol Not nearly as frustrating as snipers in BC2. Smoke is your friend, seek cover, slice the pie (http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-149351515.html).
Mountain map kinda gives me the same feeling as 1942's Omaha Beach map. Hard grind to the objectives, lots of casualties.lol Forget about your K/D ratio. Yeah, I'm really liking it. |

Posted - Oct 07 2010 : 07:27:31 I agree with your point about modern weapons and unlocks. I look forward to the Nam expansion on BC2, just for something different and throwback. Still, MoH is very good in it's realism, actuate weapons, graphics, sounds, etc. I know that CoD will beat it out come Nov. but I honestly believe at this point that MoH is going to be a better overall shooter. Less arcade and perk driven, with more reality and tactics. CoD will be the run and gun Halo like shooter, so it will win out with the masses, but I think the more serious FPS players will be playing MoH. That said, I see myself playing both, cause some days I feel like playing the run and gun goof around game and other days I feel like playing a "war sim".
But.... right now, my game is Fifa 11. Fan F'ing tastic game. |

Posted - Oct 06 2010 : 11:56:17 MoH is a little iffy to me. I played the closed beta and it was ok....... I will most likely wait until COD comes out before going the FPS route again only because of a guaranteed fan base. I am having a hard time staying interested in the FPS genre as of late. Some of the game modes in BC2 where a lot of fun and the vehicles added some strategy dept but even so I have reached a point where modern weapons and unlocks just fall flat. I want someone to come up with a new idea in the FPS landscape. The Jury is still out....... |

Posted - Oct 06 2010 : 07:51:07 Yeah, I see myself playing pretty equal time of MoH, CoD and Fifa 11. BC2 has slid down my list recently and with the great hit boxes, graphics/sound, and weapons in MoH, it makes me cringe a little when I try to play BC2 now. lol |

Posted - Oct 06 2010 : 07:12:14 I think MoH will develop a small but dedicated following. It won't be as big as CoD out of the gate, but maybe over time it will.
I'm impressed with the beta, even Deuce seemed to take a liking to it yesterday. Game tends to grow on you.
Gonna be a busy fall for gaming. Not to mention the BC2 Vietnam expansion coming out later. |

Posted - Oct 05 2010 : 16:10:27 I die a whole lot too. Game is more suited to snipers than anything else, and I play rambo style. lol I have had 3-20 rounds and a few 20-3 rounds, but for the most part I just do what it takes to get the win for the team.
I got the full game on pre order as well. I don't see this game as being a huge hit with the shooter crowd, as CoD Black Ops is out a month after and lets face it, it will be the big game of this year into next. I just hope to get a great single player out of it and a month or little more of MP would be gravy. |

Posted - Oct 05 2010 : 14:55:27 The game costs 59.95. I choose to not be server bound. I just play on pub servers. Punkbuster is all the control i need. Far as cheaters and spammers. I kill them with great joy. It makes my game experience even better. And the friends list is always there to get together with our group. So far, so fun. |

Posted - Oct 05 2010 : 11:20:53 I die a lot in that beta, itīs been a while since I played a shooter. And there is tons of servers including some that say something about 49 cents per slot???? I donīt want to pay after all lol.

Posted - Oct 04 2010 : 21:55:52 MOH is a ton of fun so far. I bought the full game back in July and it was worth the wait. With this and Black Ops out this fall we should find some common ground competition with one or both. Expired, the friends list is working. |
