There's a demo out for this game now.
OMG this game is wild! Awesome graphics and a really interesting damge model. The physics are a bit on the arcade side but, not overly so. The damage model realy messes up the car (i.e., doors fly off, crumpled metal, etc.) but it also effects the way the car handles. If you hit real hard you fly out of the car altogether. (I guess seatbelts aren't modelled.)
It looks like a lot of just plain wreckless (or wreckful) fun.

Hey Aged... this looks like something we could get Pace and Batty interested in. (you remember they were always wreckin each other... we would go on to win the race...)

Well ...
I read at BHM that there isn't a multiplayer client but you can play via IP.
Which works, but kind of sucks.

I couldnt seem to find the IP option in the demo...than again its kinda late...I like the jump track
