I have not been able to get on the vent server for the last two days , has something changed or is there another problem?

I stand corrected. I thought my first night of playing 1.3 was the worst, but not being able to hear you guys and not shouting back was even worse. Not enjoyable tonight at all, hence the early retirement to bed (that and Daqing Oilfields was the next map loading.)
Hopefully the issues are rectified and we can resume shouting it up on Ventrilo. I don't particularly like using TeamSpeak after using Ventrilo, but I'll see what happens.

VENT is down indenfinately.. or basically until it gets fixed.. Ginko came on TEAMSPEAK Last Night to apologize.... and say that his hard drive on the server crapped out and he was sorry about it..
but like I told him no apology is necessary .. not pointing at anyone in particular.. but it's funny how things that are donated or basically free to everyone we take for granted sometimes.. anywho.. he's working on it.. in the meantime..
TEAMSPEAK IS UP AND WORKS FINE..
yeah yeah.. you gotta resgister and download it.. but the upside is it uses less bandwidth..

I can't register with the server... the "self" menu option is disabled. Their FAQ says "contact the server administrator". OK - who would that be?

Try login in anonymously using -edit- as the password. From there, see if the self drop down works and create a user name and password.
edited by admin.. please go to the members only section for info regarding TS.

Why would someone edit the password for unregisterd people to join.....As far as I remember it was open to whomever wanted in, but OMO admined it, and got the guests registerd so they could join other channels..I guess things have changed alot around here.

No the password is "wisdom" and you can only come in with an unregisterd acct and cant swith channels from the default..An ADMIN(OMO) has to click you name and Allow to register with the server, or make your acct manually with your unqiue login and pass..Thats why I dont see a reason to Edit the above post..Its all over the OMO forums, you jsut have to serch thru Threads.
