Not sure how many are still active but a new COD4 patch just came out.

I patched the server Friday to 1.7.

Humm do you need the disc in for the patch to take, I get error code saying not compatible with my version

I don't think my CD was in. Is your version of CoD4 store bought or did you download it?

Were you already at version 1.6? if not maybe you need to patch in order. 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 etc.....

I cant get any of the patches installed, cant find my disc, i will check my version, and try that.

You should only need your disc if you are reinstalling or playing SP.

Oddly, I am patched to 1.7 but still have the auto patch button up on the game menu screen. Something is slightly broken.
