Well after 3 hours of digging thru files and deleting things I have BF3 up and running again.
WARNING!!! for now don't manually update Punk Buster, it will screw things up BIG TIME. And uf you have already done that and you have DVD hard copy of game then DON"T try and run the "REPAIR" function by right clicking on BF3 at Orgin screen. I think the repair function only works for downloaded version.
I ran PB manually and could not play because it constantly kicked me out of games, then tried running the repair function and it totally screwed the game up. It caused it to keep tryinng to reinstall over and over and over. Not only that it crashed CCC program in Catalyst drivers for video card. I had to run driver cleaner at least 3 times reinstall video card then drivers and finally update to latest drivers to get it straightened out. Then had to uninstall and reinstall the game. FUN FUN FUN.
Note: i noticed that there was a message at top of Orgin page that says they have a fix for the PB part of it now.

Looking like BF3 was poorly designed and poorly tested if you read all the 1 star reviews on Amazon.com.
Not excited about annoying to run games with annoying to view websites I do not want to be a part of tied to them.
(Sorry if I have uttered blasphemies to the war gods.)

Backpain, having to use BattleCom is really annoying and causes the loading of the game to be slow but playing with all the helo's Tanks and APC's on Caspian Border makes it worth it. the graphics and destructable enviroment are awesome.

The game is good. Good maps, awesome sound, great graphics with lots of destructible terrain.
Some of the "implementation" was mind boggling, but once you get used to it it's a damn good experience
