I gave it a try. I figured at $9.99, why not.

I tried multiplayer and of course it didn't work since it tries to connect to WON. Then I tried Game Ranger, but it wasn't recognized. I had hoped that GOG Galaxy would've worked, but apparently it's not supported.

The game looks like it's been updated by Gearbox (like the "original" versions that were included with HWR - meaning multiplayer is essentially disabled , though LAN play might work).

Has anyone tried Hamachi to play games? If anyone else wants to get the game and try it via Hamachi, I'd be willing to give it a go. Another option would be to test out Hamachi with one of the HWR "originals". I'm not sure if it'll work since Game Ranger wouldn't.

Gearbox's implementations have been frustrating. I know the true original HW and HWC worked with Game Ranger.
