RosadoXLR has been doing some cars for the TA mod being done by Project Wildfire.
Here's an example. (432K .jpg file)
I'm working on mine now. Mustang, of course. But, there's also a Corvette, Viper and Jaguar.

Is that going to translate into game graphics? Of course I suck at road racing but who cares if I get to drive something like that!

I doubt it'll translate exactly into the game. For example, the exhaust is more detailed in that render than the template would suggest.
I'd love to take credit for that car but Chris Rosado made it.
I've been playing around with one and it looks like this:

corvette of course Aged :), simply because the viper only manages to win when enough cars wreck :(,, maaybe the replicate of the vette Dale E. drove in the Daytona 500 with Ron Fellows i have been lookin for a pic of it in the arcives unsussesfully so far.

I've run some truck races. I ran my first at Mesa Marin. I got wrecked by somebody doing a banzai run into a turn, but it was a blast.
