No player vs player? What's the point? That was the problem with Freelancer. A great game but without the ability to actively attack and conquer other humans it was pointless. :(

I'm still on the fence. @ $9.95/month I might jump on this one, but $15.00/month is really giving me pause.

But, wow! Guild Wars looks really impressive.

Guild Wars looks AWESOME. We can all try it during E3 as they are opening it up to folks who download the client.

Sory I had to log off last night. I got some realy nasty malware. Practicly undetectable. Disovered it when I got a missing dll file warning. Did a search for the dll file and found a post about the malware tht uses it. I tried to kill it but ended up deleting something I shouldnt have. I had to reinstall windows and got 57 infections within 10 seconds of connecting online. Took all night to get them cleaned out and all my win updates installed. Mainly cause my gf came home with 6 movies and was watching them with her while working on my system.
Its up and running now but there are still 3 movies to go. Will be on sometime tonight. I normaly play from the afternoon till early in morning. West cost time. Ill try to hook up with you tonight. What times do you play. I can alter my playtimes to match it if I need to.

Let me get this straight..
$140 per month for business class cable modem service
$40 per month for webhosting
$100 per month (at least) on newly released games
and I should add another $15 per month to play a game online? I think not.
Highway robbery if you ask me. I've known people who didn't pay rent and go to work so they could get their Everquest fixes.

A good MMORPG is the best game available on the market. But if you want to play the best your going to have to pay. It up to you but I have been a big fan of MMORPG's since I played my first one years ago. They have come a long way since then.
Petri: I made a few more char since I last saw you online. Morticus, Atomic Shock, Joe Blogh and Chaos Lord. They all have Catman thier friends list. If you playing any other char let me know and Ill add them.

Cool. Right now CatMan is the only one on Champion. I may create a tank/scrapper later on, but in the meantime I'm concentrating on one character on that server.

City of Heros? Go to the Champion server. But, like I said before, I don't usually play till 9pm.
So.... while you play around with the character creation tool (which is quite fun), talk to your contact, take some missions, and "arrest" any bad guys you run across between your mission and the contact. By the time I get on you may be level 4 or more...
Also, make sure you add Hivemind and CatMan to your friends list: "/friend CatMan" and "/friend Hivemind" will allow you to do that while we are not online. I hear Tankers are in short supply... but you may be best to make the simplest to play at low levels: blaster.
