Dropped in on Nascar 2003 tonight. The servers are up and running and the ratings are back. On top of that, I am running with the big dogs again. Had a first, second and a 6th. in the 3 races I ran.   I still think it will be a fun game for you guys to get in...

yea aged, I feller cut me off and bounced me into the wall with about 4 laps to go, I was in 2nd. I waited ever so slowly and when he passed me I pitched him into the wall .... he was running 2nd at the time. Wouldn't have done it if I would have been penalized. Just get a little tired of some of the tactics...

Well, I got on last night and ran a few races...they have everything back up now including the reporting. Thats a good thing. I even retained my 7 rating and 41 lap avg. on Talladega and Daytona. I was in the top 5 in most of my races, won one and placed 2nd twice. Funny thing, while the servers were down I couldn't keep up with any settings. Now the servers are back up, I can run with most. Of course the one thing I already miss is taking out the guy that took you out without being penalized on points. Hee Hee!

Have you tried out any of the Brian Ring tracks yet?
They're user modified versions of existing tracks to add a second groove. The racing at the plate tracks (Daytona and Talladega) is really good. Even Jr. practices with them.

No, I haven't. Will check it out. Last night I jumped into a 100 lap yellow flag race on taldega race. Thought the yellows would drive me nuts but you know, it made for better racing. And....after about 30 laps when a yellow would come out, gave you time to breath. What was really cool was trying to time your pit stops and changes. There were about 25 that started and I think 14 finished. I did a 4th. Those are a really nice break.

That's what I like. Yellows on and a race length long enough to require a pitstop.
