Ok .. Just had to start a new thread .. Seems you fellas are more into the the games where you actually get to do some PvP as opposed to a pure PvE game.
As it stands WoW seems to suit this group a bit better than EQ2 will. Even though EQ2 will beat WoW out of the gates to reach the Masses first.

Including a bit of Info I stole from a different forum (Thanks IronFist!)

Guys, if you live in USA or Canada, visit both http://www.worldofwarcraft.com and http://www.fileplanet.com Blizzard is starting 7 days WoW stress test (with a goal in mind to try to overload their servers), but you will have opportunity to play WoW for 7 days.

Instructions how to do that are available in fileplanet. Few things:

1. It's for USA / Canada only
2. If you have fileplanet account (payed one) you have GUARANTEED spot
3. If you dont have such an account, and there will be less than 100,000 premium fileplanet account users, you can still try.

Thanks GrayVon, think I'll stick it out with City of Heros which will have PvP out in Early 2004.

Figures someone named "Petrified" would live in the past.

"The (Democratic) Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. ... We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now do you begin to understand me?" --George Orwell, "1984" - And if you have not figured that out by now with Obama in office, there is no hope.

HAHA I think that is the longest WoW thread I've seen. Gawd it was funny. Poor little cow... HAHA

Oh and the Gnome milking thing... OMG

Novus Ordo Seclorum

Knowledge is power... has been since time eternal. Arcane knowledge is thereby ultimate power and can
therefore lead to ultimate corruption. Wisdom (and the experience that comes with age) is a serum for corruption.
Perhaps that is why there are so many Old Men with Arcane knowledge and so few young ones...

Havent played WoW yet but EQ2 isnt all that. It was done well and has some nice stuff but didnt grab me as a great game. Think I actualy enjoyed the Linnage II beta more and I didnt even buy that game. As of the moment I have suspended my EQ2 account.

CoH I recomend highly, and would recomend EQ2 to someone who is new to MMORPG's but think they might do better with WoW even tho I havent played it.
