again in an attept to find an ISP with decent through put that does not suddenly in a battle stop any data throughput :(, i tested to the speed test thats on the front page, here are the results could ya interpet it for me please, the results were so high that, i got altitude sickness

To estimate your connect speed from our Server, we have sent a large amount of data to your computer. The results are displayed in the box to the right and in the Speed Test Thermometer below. NOTE: Some computers will have difficulty completing this test accurately the first time the page is displayed. You may wish to run this test several times to get a feel for the correct speed.

To test again, press "Control-F5"

Referencing your results to the look up chart it appears that you must "Go away"
But
That's only their opinion

Looks like the result was 140kbps. Not too bad. Are you running your dual modem setup again?

Anyway use the DSLReports tests. It is more representative of the bandwidth you can expect. The one on our frontpage is limited to my server and my bandwidth.

A 577 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 980872 bps, or 957 kbps.

I've generally seen throughput as bytes vs bits. What you're seeing isn't bad - not stellar, but not bad at all.

For comparison, really, really good dial up will give you 4.7K - nearly 5K (compared to the 17.5K you're showing).

Same question - is that a dual modem setup? It looks a little ISDN-like but that doesn't seem likely at all.
