Hello, just wanted to stop by and say hello. I met one of your guildies a few weeks back and had to inquire if he really was "an old man on line". He assured me that he was, and that there were a whole lot of mature men (and women?) that belong to your guild. I would love to met and play with you all sometime. It's refreshing to know other adults like to play these games.
I started playing EQ 4 years ago when my daughter moved states side and hated it at first, didnt take to long tho and i was hooked, lol. I just recently moved to CoH with a friend who has become my steady playing partner. We formed a guild called Ancient Wonders, so far there are just 3 of us. The kids in game can be a bit much so its nice to know there are adults here also.
Well thats about it:) just wanted to say howdy. I had posted under the guestbook as Misbee, but i err umm <whispers> couldnt remember my password so i made a new one for Sol, heh OY

Hi there Sol,

These OMO are good folk, try looking some of the CoH players.

Mostly they are on the Champion Server;

Dark Fall
Bubbles McForce
Oogie
Radiation nation ( I think I got that right)

and I can usually be found as Dark Grifter

Hello Mr Sol, you are quite right in assuming that there are matured persons here at OMO in various stages of senile dysfunction. The age of acceptance into the OMO ranks is something that is unspoken but generally resolves itself into the ages of 30's - 60's 'though I haven't come across any 60's gamers yet.
There are some CoH players here along with a fair few other popular games. We just started our own desert combat server (Battlefield 1942) which provides the basis of lots of fun.
Hope to see you around.

If you wish to join in and get to know some of the OMO, just get teamspeak and take it from there.

Yeah, Fuddy needs to see the light of City of Heros.

I recall speaking with you Solitary Shadow. Twas I, Dark Fall, with whom you spoke.

Next time I see you on, we'll have to invite you to team with us. Should be quite fun. Oh, and most of us use Team Speak 2. Connection information should be on the main page.

Welcome

Yes, we are are all afraid of tugboat captains so it seems, or girlie men (but we have City of Heroes for them).

Anyway, I think it would be great to have a female gaming element in OMO. For one, it would give OGO a new meaning. Secondly, you would have a legitimate 'babe' in CoH instead of 'wannabees'.
Of course, if you are a guy anyway, expect lots of 'flak'

Then there are the real men of OMO that play games like BF1942 and are not worried in the least about the color of their tights with matching handbags.. oops! should I have said that?

If there are any questions, don't ask me... I'll just get a bad reputation.

Just an FYI....OMO has/had several female members past and present.

Right, I'm still trying to figure out who they are.

There is a pic of Nosey with a TuTu and you have confessed to doing interpretive dance while the rest of us fought in BF1942.

Alas! OMO is no place for the weak hearted.

Heyas all!!

I am the "friend" that moved from EQ to CoH with Misbee aka Solitary Shadow.

The Misbee is definetly female, lol. That information gathered from months of playing and conversing with her, and not from any personal in view knowledge

I think I would qualify as an old man online heh!

I'm enjoying watching the Red Sox pound
the Yankees its 8 - 1 currently.

Just wanted to say Hi and check out your site

<blink blink> tugboat captain??? hmmmm I do racall a show from wayback when called Tugboat Annie, it stared the skipper from Gilligans Island i believe hehe. Thats the closest i been to a tugboat in my life lol. And hey the gal from that show was cute, errr in a large kinda way yup yup.
I have talked to Dark Fall a few times in game, sadly i havent seen any of the others you mentioned on when im playing. I never thought of asking what levels you all are( i did ask Dark last time i saw him) and found you are probly all wayyyy to high for moi:(My highest is just 21 atm. I do have a handful of lil gals running around, i made my first ever fighter yesterday and got to 10 with her. I have come to realise i need a solo player as i spend alot of time here and flatout refuse to group with the foul mouthed brats i seem to come across alot here lately. OY i told one kid that if i wanted to hear that kinda talk i would go hang out at my local highschool , and i cant think of one good reason to do that heehee.errr mostly cause i left there about a hundred years back lol.
Anyways if we ever manage to get our mains high enough to group with you all would be great to play together sometime, until then take care.....

We have a list, in the RPG section if I recall, where we list our current players. We can easily Side Kick you up to us, so long as we have the numebrs to do so. Next time I am running about by myself, I'll invite you - or grab my level 21 scrapper.

The nice thing about starting a team, is that you can kick the Foul Mouthed ones.

As for the TugBoat captain... hehe... that was a funny incident. The particular individuals may never live it down, so long as we can recall their names.
