Is anyone going to get this when it comes out? (when does it come out?)

I'm offically hooked on MMORPGs now after getting a taste of CoH (C stands for Crack).

This one is free, so all you tight wads out there have no excuse for not getting this unless it sux. (does it suck retread?)

I don't know what is is about MMOG that i like so much, maybe because of all the love you put into a character and watch them grow up to become more and more powerful!

It's really sad when one of you fellow OMO's deletes one of THEIR characters and you miss them. (charged cat will be truly missed petri)

*phhht* What? And you think Bubbles is not missed?

Actually, while there were certain things about Charged Cat I liked, he was one of the ones I could not really get into character wise. Most likely because he shot up so quickly due to inadvertant PLing. That and he was not as dynamic as Dark Fall or CatMan.

And he had no personality at all. Did you ever try to have a conversation with that guy? Like talkin' to a barn door, I say.

"The (Democratic) Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. ... We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now do you begin to understand me?" --George Orwell, "1984" - And if you have not figured that out by now with Obama in office, there is no hope.

As for Guilt Wars...oops, sorry, mixed this conversation up with the one over in the politics/religion section. Err, Guild Wars...I'm not as drawn to it as WoW, but may give it a gander if I have not committed to WoW when it comes out.

Actually, if I were to pick up another MMO, it would be Guild Wars simply because I, at this point, have no intention of dropping CoH. I cannot see myself paying two monthly subscriptions.

Also, one of the nice things about CoH is how little effort it takes to keep things up.

My wife didn't like the art on the box so she asked me to toss it. The box is gone but I still have the game installed. Have not played in awhile. So Bugger? No more CoH for you? (but I know, at least GW is free from a monthly subscription).

Im going to be gone a lot of next month so I didnt reactivate CoH yet. I have some time right now tho and wanted to try this. Yea I liked the girlie on the box too.

I tried a Necro/Monk last night. Didnt turn out as well as I had hoped. The raised monsters loose heath too fast for me to heal them. They dont last long at all. Im going to try a Mez/necro today and go for speed life drains. Ill get on TS Toothy and maybe we can hook up.

My current char is Dazzeling Death. Will prob del the other when I learn more about the game. She is turning out much better. The plan was to use speed cast/life drain on a mez/necro but she dont have the right skills for that yet. She does have a nice hex combo tho. Kills stuff faster than my other guy. Still doing the starter area quests atm.

Np. Figured it was something like that. At least I got you to Piken Square. That a big step since it offers a bunch of skill quests.

Imagine how my wife would react if an elementalist female broke out into dance... I might have to buy a new monitor. [:/]

Anyways, I'll see if I can get back on soon. My gaming time has been eaten up a tad with gunning for Catheter. Which reminds me: he sounds a heck of a lot like Back Pain.
