I just read on Planet Battlefield that you only get the upgrade for the kit you play the most. I never knew this. I guess I was fortunate to get the upgraded spec opps weapon. If you see me playing Support for the next month, that's why. I want the upgraded support weapon :)
I was thinking that. I thought I was playing assault the most. Maybe you first unlock you get the choice. I was just reading what was posted on the Planet Battlefield site. I thought that was the official site for the game. What I read was posted in the forums but several made the same statement. There's just too much I don't understand about this game. Where can I get a manual?
I got to unlock the enhanced shotgun for the anti-tank person. It shows it's unlocked on the info screen, however, I've never seen the thing, can't find it.. where is it?
Manual? They don't even provide a decent set of default mapped key-binds for the game... very annoying when you are trying to 'fly' and realize you have to jump for your life. Took me over a week to find that '9' is the default parachute key.
Fuddy- Before joining or re entering a game there will be a small square box in the upper right hand corner of your weapon choice. click on that to change between the new and old gun.
On our server it says "global unlocks" set to 0.When other stuff is set to 0 it is "off". I've wondered about seeing the unlocked weopons in the game too,Fuddy.
It was very fun when the OTH guys ran an unlocked server when the demo version was out. Lots of very interesting new toys to play with. As I recall, EA did not like the unlocked servers.
It's hard to soar with eagles when your surrounded by turkeys.
I seem to recall that you could unlock any weapon you wanted. At least that's what I remember when I got my first unlock. Haven't reached the second one yet.
Dirtbag, many thanks for answering the weapon unlock question I had. I used the new 12 shot shotgun last night to great effect, just wish someone had told me earlier about the 'small quare box'.
Guys you should have asked sooner. I've been using the unlocked machine gun for the spec opps kit since I first made Lance. That's why I use the spec opps so much. I have a better weapon and I need all the help I can get. You can almost use it like a sniper rifle except it doesn't have the scope except as chineese version I think. It's either single or full auto.
