Just wanted to say hi and tell you I enjoyed the play on your server tonight. My old COD UO clan dis-banded four weeks ago so I am looking around for a new clan of mature virtual warrior. I was one of the admins and one of the sig/avatar designers for my last group. I'll be playing on your server when I can and post here.
I just got a new computer and an online bud told me to get BF2. I love it! I been playing for two weeks now and have taught myself to fly the choppers already. But I still crash alot :(
Hope to meet you all online and miss the in-game teammate chatter.

Hi Baddad, I do recall seeing you on the maps last night. Glad you're having fun playing on our server, you're very welcome.
Nosehair is definately a virtual warrior, his virtuosity is legendary. The rest of us are mostly just virtual.

Hey Baddad, glad you enjoyed playing on our server. It's a good group of guys just having a good time. Crashing the choppers is something most of us do on a regular basis, but then no guts no glory as they say. I'll look for you in game.

Another fun night on your server I have a connect drop problem...its called my son. I have a wireless lan for my son and wife to connect to the printer and DSL...I connect direct via ethernet. But when he is on line I take a connection hit once and a while. It is bad when the server connection drops or I am flying a chopper and next thing I know me and the unfortunate gunner are crash and bbq'd
On a technical issue - I use a in MOBO audio card (the mobo is a ASUS A8N-Sli Premium. I have read that you need an add-on audio card for VOIP to work. Is this true? I can't seem to get the VOIP to work. Do you all us Teamspeak or Ventrilo? What is the required info to connect please and I can try it next time I'm on the server. Thnaks again for the fun.

Hi Baddad, I have the same MOBO as you, however, to this point I've not been able to try out the VOIP. The main issue I have right now, is that at the end of a game, just before the player stats are put up, BF2 exits and goes straight to desktop. Teamspeak or ventrillo work perfectly throughout.
I would like to verify that the VOIP is working (or not) with my A8N-SLI Premium.

I have an Asus P4P 800 SE with SoundMax integrated sound. I can get TS or Vent or VoIP to work but not at the same time. I heard the same thing about the integrated sound not being able to handle the load, so I went out and got the Audigy 2 ZS and still can't run but one app at a time. I'm really pissed. That was $130. I didn't need to spend.
