I decided that since tomorrow is my last day fo the week, that I would stay up a bit longer tonight, and I hopped into the OMO BF2 server.
I had decided to try to get my basic KNFE badge (7 kills in a map). So off I went, knife in hand lookin for someone to shiv.
Got my first victim, then the next couple I took out my pistol, and popped them.
Lost track of my kill count, but soon enough I got the message that I had been awarded my basic knive combat badge. YAY!.
Few minutes later I was awarded my basic PISTOL medal ( 7 kills again I believe). DOUBLE YAY!
Then, getting tired of a sniper in a crane I picked him off iwth a sniper rifle, clombed his crane (laying claymores on the way up), and proceeded to snipe. Minutes later...BASIC SNIPER MEDAL. WOOOT!
Did I mention I was commander? Well we won the round, and my final score was 213. YOWSA!
No OMO were harmed during this round as witnessed by representatives of the the Confederation Of Retired People (CORPs).

Wow. Sounds like fun! I like getting the medals. This afternoon I'm cutting out of work early so I can go home and try that on another server.
Hey Festus do you have any suggestions for sneaking up on guys with the knife? I always get caught sneaking up on them.

Dynamite round, festus. All I can say is, WAY TO GO!!!!! Wish I could do that, but I am in no way that proficient at this game. My hands don't move as quick as my head, or vise/versa. I am open for some personal instructions.

Wow... 200+ points is fantastic! To get the Pistol and Sniper badges, is it also 7 kills in one round?

If you go out for the knife badge all I can say is be prepared to die ALOT.
Actually it was kind of funny. I usually hid somewhere so when the enemy headed towards a flag, they ran right past with their backs to me me. Then I sprinted along behind them trying to catch up so I could stab them. Eventually they slowed down and got "stuck". Or I would approach a flag that was in the process of changing, and I got lucky, coming up on my target when they were looking in another direction.

Congrats old friend. I am working on the same badges and finding it hard at times. I found a few spots on a couple of maps where the enemy were jumping over me to defend a flag. By the way festus due to you being on the other team when I first started playing you are my number 1 opponent what a hoot that is for me. Peace my friend.
