Just like 2 say Hi and nice 2 meet you guys. Enjoy playing on your server. I'll try and get a headset soon, Dogs chew up my last one. I have been having lots of connection problems lately, seems like a lot more since the 1.03 patch came out. Any ideals ? Again nice 2 meet you guys. Thanks

Greetings fellow dog owner. Glad you found us.
What kind of connection problems? High ping or? If your doing battle from Asia, that could be your problem. Our Server is in Texas.
Laggg and your connection to the server could be different issues.

Yea you just like coming over here and killin us old guys with slow reflexes :) I've seen you around for awhile and it's usually too late when I see you :(
Do you get the message across your screen "There is a problem with your connection" or just get a lot of lag with you video jumping?
I thought the 1.03 patch was supposed to fix a lot of this stuff but I can't see where it fixed anything.

(I've found the patch is a bit buggy especially with 2 maps in our rotation)

I get a message across my screen there is a problem with your connection. I have a powerful pc and am on cable, if your service comes from Texas I would think it would b pretty good connection. Wetland, I also can not spawn when and where I want 2. Before the patch everything was great. My ping is in the 60's

Hi FLYNHI, this problem with not being able to spawn where you want to is becoming more apparent to me as being a bug in patch 1.03. There are several people(including myself) that have had similar problems. My experience is that if clicking the mouse pointer on a spawn location doesn't work, try clicking below the spawn point. It then worked everytime for me.

Hi Flyn,it wouldn't e a good game if we didn't kill each other a couple of times. The other night I shot you and then ran over a mine you thoughtfully left behind.
I too have been getting the "problem with connection" messages alot lately and they seem to last longer by 20 sec or so than they used to. At least they have not dumped me from the server.

Yea, I get that message all the time, especially since the new patch. Part of it is my computer isn't exactly state of the art and part of it is my ISP sucks. I just got the stuff to install DSL so hopefully that part will be fixed. Some nights it seems are worse than others. A lot of times I get so fustrated with it that I just give up and quit playing all together. My pings are normally about 50 or so it's just the spikes that get me.

In a way glad 2 hear its not just me. I wondered if maybe I downloaded a bad patch. When I get the message I normally get dropped from the server. Thanks again I'll keep trying 2 fix the problem.

Yea, know the feeling. Frustrating ain't it? I just got my DSL up and running but of course I have to go to work Sat. morning so I won't get to play until Sat. night sometime. Speeds look good, traceroute is a heck of a lot better than it was. Hopefully that's a good sign.

No, I had Adelphia cable and it really sucks. With them going bankrupt and noone having any idea when or what's going to happen I looked into Alltel DSL. The final kicker was when the wife and I bought a laptop with built in wireless and Alltel had a deal to include a wireless router in the package.

You really need to get a headset with mic. It makes all the difference. Even more important, you can tell an admin to get you switched over the OMO side. It also helps to locate the direction of sounds like footsteps and vehicles. It has been fun being on your side as well as killing you.
