Trying to figure out what I saw this afternoon on a SF server. I was screaming for Catheter to spawn to a squad I was in to see a guy running around without a weapon, arms outstretched as if pretending to fly. I finally found the picture below that is an example of what I saw.
It turns out that this occurs when someone is revived without a kit, i.e. either he moved or his kit didn't end up by him when he was revived. I followed him around until he died. I tried to ask the guy via chat how he did it. No wonder the guy didn't know what I was talking about. He had no idea what the animation looked like.
There is a way to actually do this...

I wonder if you kill someone on a slope or hillside, everything is so damn slippery in BF2, that the body might slide a bit away from the kit.

He's hacking again!  As far as that screenshot goes, I read on other forums that it's called "Scarecrow Man". Apparantly it happens if someone has been revived too far from their kit or if someone comes over and takes their kit and they get revived. There is a video running around with someone like that running around screaming and crying like they're gay or something. Pretty funny, I see it every now and again.

I hope you can go find a kit and pick it up when this happens.
They should modify the graphic and have the guy either run around with his head up his ass or his arms held over his head in surrender...or both.
