There are a few BF2 mentions in the release notes depending on your version of the card. Check their site to see if your card is affected. I this was a pretty broad driver release that affected most of the GeForce cards.

yep, I remember a couple months ago when I was having some issues the Nvidia guy said there was a major overhaul coming before the end of the year.
