What Petri is really trying to say is that we are normally abnormal and this conversation is a normal part of our abnormality.

"The (Democratic) Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. ... We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now do you begin to understand me?" --George Orwell, "1984" - And if you have not figured that out by now with Obama in office, there is no hope.

No no no no... you can't get away that easy Mophy.

Bantering and heading head first into trouble is what the O.M.O.'s do best.

Also as Bedpan says, get on Vent and you'll see what we mean. It's a blast! Keep playing with and against on BF2 and I'll see you on the other side of the iron sights.

nwo the question is how long will this thread go on for?

Thanks for your "contribution" Tread. I'm not going to open the link, but boy was that fun. I recall years and years ago how I was enjoying the OMO HW crowd a bunch and didn't realize what the chit chat in the game was about between a couple of OMOs. Then they mensioned the forums and WOW what a buncha %$#@ I saw in there. I had no idea of all the back stabbin' that was part of the club.

So Mo let me tell ya, it's all fun. Feathers get ruffled on occasion. THe ones still here have a the thick skin to handle it. It's mostly male posturing and chest pounding stuff. You know we got egos (some bigger than others). You may not, no biggy, enjoy the game. We enjoy your company.

btw was that some serious FUD from BackPain or what, jeeeeez

Morph, there is just a few peeps you need to completely ignore besides myself. Nosehair is worth ignoring entirely, despite his male posturing, chest pounding, pink TuTu exhibitionism (thats another story) and affiliation to the "extra special forces".
Silver will drive you to drink, Petri will decimate your initiation with unwarranted artillery barrages, Cathy will give you earache in the process (not by artillery). Backpain will endeavor to explain all the irrational behaviour in a very rational way and just as you're sobering up Batty will make a guest appearence and drive you to drink again or you'll die laughing. Gort will make sure you are politically correct at all times and everything you say will be taken down and held against you by Pacey.
Sorry for missing out the other guys but I'm already in deep *%&* so I'll wait a while.

Fudro, this is a public forum and you are draggin' out the dirty laundry for all to ridicule and form opinions in regards to the "mature" OMO culture.

I nominate a temporary suspension of FuddyDud-OMO from all posting (public and private) for a period of 1 month.
the private forums will handle the polling and detailed committee hearing that will facilitate these immediate actions that are needed and clearly stated in the OMO bylaws of "acceptable OMO member conduct".

btw: FYI Mr. Fud. I have run spell check and did not misspell ONE word. Thank You Very Much

I suppose that's better than her just leaving you there to find your own way home Silver...

So we would like each person in BattleField2 wishing to join OMO to understand clearly that as a new member of OMO, you will loose whatever stats or position you've gained in BattleField2 because [if you make it in the Club] you'll be given a new OMO name and you'll be expected to play with it on our server and you're account here on our boards will reflect your new name as well. quoted from Dementia

So wait... "IF" I were to join, I would lose my name and start from scratch? /sigh

It's hard to swallow if you've been playing for a long time and have accumulated a lot of points, but just think how much fun you'll have getting those points back without making all those noobie mistakes.

We should make Older start from scratch. All that clinking of medals every time he enters the server is very distracting.
