Careful.... not all drivers are equal, blew my machine up with these, had to go back to the last version supported by my card manufacture.
Smelly.

By "these" do you mean from the above NVIDIA link?? I saw other sites with newer Beta drivers but thought NVIDIA.com was official.

It just depends on what youīre running, stay away from drivers over 30.82 release version if you have Geforce 2. For Geforce3/4 pick 40.xx and up, better support for pixel and vertex shaders, not the best thing for the Geforce 3 but still ok. 41.09 is a great driver, I had not a single issue with it while softquadroed.
awesome driver 9/10

28.32 is good for Geforce 2, you should get it from some graphics site like www.guru3d.com !!

No Titanium, thatīs ok if you can run them without any problems. But sometimes the drivers that were optimized for a specific card like your Geforce 2 will fit your needs better. The main change from Geforce 2 to 3 was new technology like Pixel and Vertex Shaders, but if youīre running GF 2 you donīt need any support in your driver for Pixel and Vertex Shader. I had problems with Geforce 2 cards and driver releases 30.82 and up with CAD applications over a range of 5 systems. So itīs not always the best to have the newest drivers.

I agree. It should have occured to me sooner, but whenever I applied a new driver to my card the games (like MW4) were all messed up. Essentially it was looking to do something the card was incapable of doing.
Also, is GF4 Ti better than the GF4 MX?

Petrified, normally it shouldnīt do that, whenever nvidia releases drivers it should work with all products cause of its unified driver architecture, but as we know hardware vendors are not free from failure the things we donīt want to happen still happen G4 Ti is better than GF4 MX, I would call the GF4 MX a GF 2,5, cause it lacks most of the features that the GF4 Ti has, except that vertex engine.

It did. The video essentially ceased refreshing the image and other images were hazy. But per your own previous posts it surprises me you are surprised by the lack of incompatability.
I actually have a bid in for a Radeon 9700 Pro for about $200. So, in combination with my new hardware, I should be set for the next few years. I need the updated drivers for my old card as it will act as a server very soon.

I didnīt had to many problems with the nvidia drivers, beta or WHQL. The Radeon 9700 is a very nice card and for 200 I guess itīs a deal. nvidia allways had the better drivers compared to ATI, that you should consider when you buy ATI stuff, but ATI develops now the catalyst driver which seems to be a decent piece of software. Theyīre getting better
Additionally there is a modification that let you transform your Radeon 9700 to the professional counterpart FireGL X1 if youīre working in 3D/CAD Area a very tempting device.

I downloaded the 28.32 and so far it runs without a hitch. I'll test it with what I have left of Mercs tonight.
