Back to the original post. The way I understand your question is, your uncapped airfield base was artied, right? If so, then your claim is not lagitimate. Our rules state you cannot arty, bomb, or straif any CAPPED base unless your team has all the flags. There is no rule against artying any uncapped base or flag.

The base was an uncapturable main base, and as I understand the rule you are not allowed to enter(except to destroy assets), straife, or arty that base unless you have all the other flags.

Curry you are correct. Any uncapturable base can't be attacked in any way without all the flags. Assets may be destroyed, but then you must leave.
Heart, you are confusing people with your terms. A capped flag is a flag that has been turned. An uncapped flag is a flag that is gray. He used the term "uncap" for Uncappable flag, i.e. an uncapturable base. He mentioned the airfield at Daqing Oil Fields. All airfields on that map are uncapturable, i.e. uncapturable base.
