if the french sent 100 waitresses from paris to afghanistan, and they all raised their arms at once, would the french be guilty of chemical warfare??
you know, of course that the reason the french love Saddam, is because he's always wearing those saucy black berets.

well, I noticed on the new the past couple days the french are trying to float several options to get themselves out of hot water with the US. I really think they are fighting against the war because when we do take over that little country, we are gonna find out the the biggest embargo busters and profit takers from Sadaam are the French.

That IS most likely. Also, there were several comments by other leaders in France that basically indicate they don't agree with Chirac's position (and they are in the same party).

The Frogs only have two goals in this whole thing: 1. to maintain the status quo in leadership in Iraq, because they are making a ton of money off of the villain. 2. To try to limit the U.S.'s influence and control, so they can try to become the leader of a new superpower in the European Union (perhaps you noticed it telling the smaller members of the EU to shut up when they spoke out in support of the U.S.). Those frickin' Frogs have big notions of grandeur...e.g. to control the next superpower in the world to offset the U.S's 'right wing' policies. Buncha socialist basta'ds.

YEs, Socialism sucks.
Nothing like an elite group of people saying: "I know how to use your money/resources/yadayada better than you."

Quite frankly, I think most of the French had similar hatred of the Jews as most Germans did. Difference is, after WW2, the Germans were forced to look at the inhumanity of their actions and experience the guilt of their acting on that hatred. The French never had to feel shame, guilt, or anything else for sympathizing with Hitler's lust for extermination of the Jews and today still carry much of that dislike. Never expect the French to place a Jews well being ahead of an Arab, or anyone else. French wouldn't shed a tear for the elimination of Israel, it'd make their lives easier.

The French (and many who hate Jews) wish Hitler "finished" the job. Now I think they hope Saddam might.
