Hi folks,

Just introducing myself ... my pal Timeless_OMO, who I know from a fabulous old game called Sacrifice, has been encouraging me for a while to come join in with you.

We also played RoN together for a while, and needless to say are both bursting a gasket -- or some other old, worn out parts -- waiting for RoL.

Was over visiting your BF2 server tonight ... actually just picked the game up a couple of days ago ... never played the earlier ones, and so have started my apprenticeship as cannon fodder for y'all.

I'm 43 and live in Toronto.

Cheers,
Kink

Or you can just get on TS when you're doing the RoL thing. Game ships in a few weeks so we'll be able to get some games in. The guys playing RoL are hanging out on TS, along with some of the Eve guys. The BF guys are using vent.

Welcome...
I guess you have some extra time to spend gaming seeing that the Leafs didn't make the playoffs this year.
Being from Ottawa and a fan of the Sens, I am glad their not around to knock us out of the playoffs this year as they have done in the past.

Noticed the nick was Japanese, so I thought I would write a bit of Japanese and see if you spoke it.

Welcome Kink. Once you accept the fact that you will die a lot in this game it can be a lot of fun. As Levitra said, get on vent and say hi.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys !!

FWIW ... I took my nick Kinketsu from the aforementioned game Sacrifice. The wizards in that game use the word when casting spells. I don't speak any Asian language. (I do, however, know several programming languages and once wrote part of a Chinese word processor. At the time, a "portable PC" was the size of sewing machine.)

Sounds like both Ventrilo and TS are in my future. Should get a chance to experiment soon.

Talk to you then !
