happy Memorial Day LoG. Thank You for stoppin' in.
First off, there are very few L33ts in our ranks, so membership is in no way connected with skillz (I am a shinning example of bottom dwelling). As for joining the ranks, well I'm sure someone can direct you to the link that says "what it takes". First off is patience and then there is the renaming game (if you have what it takes to wait and wait and wait) where you lose your current name and are givin' a new OMO name. It's a good idea to get on our Ventrillo channel and chat it up wit da boyz too.

see ya round fruit cake (jk)

Hi LoGiX71. Don't sell yourself short in the skills dept. We do have some extremely high calibur players, but most of us are just regular old guys having fun. Glad you enjoy playing with us and I've seen you in game a lot lately. As Nosey says, get on ventrilo and chat it up with us during the game. It can be hilareous at times and we can get to know you. See you on the battlefield!

...and not all of us are "regular old guys" some I think could use a glass of prune juice once in a while (just for medicinal purposes you know) and there are a few women, like me, as well. I've been killed by you a number of times but then I get killed by nearly everyone. See you around on the battlefield. I will look forward to getting to know you better.

Hi there LoGix, for once I can say I recognise the name. It's great to see you around on the battlefield. Unlike some folk you actually die as opposed to those who skillfully dodge bullets, missiles and anything else you throw at them. You haven't shot my heli' down from a jet yet and that is a major plus.

Speaking of which, I would like to propose a new OMO ruling
"It is prohibited to shoot Fuddy's heli down at all times. This is a kickable offense"

Anyway, as the "bottom dwelling" Nose person says talk to you on vent (or maybe VOIP).

Hey Logix, yes I do love my choppers! Especially the TV missiles

Here is the link to the version of Ventrilo we are using: http://www.texturae.net/ventrilo-2.1.4-Windows-i386.exe

Install that and then we own it up together! You pilot and I gun or vice versa.

So I guess, Confused-OMO would be out of the running, eh?

I guess Befuddled-OMO would have to go too then!

I think Fuddy would get his feathers in a bit of knot if there were another Fudd to contend with in OMO!

Well Bemused-OMO might work then, or Baffled-OMO, but certainly not Enlightened-OMO!

Okay, I will stop now since I have put the wagon in front of the horse and the horse is still in the stall.

Logix,
You need to add the OMO server. Click on the "-> add or edit server connections" button to create a new server.
Host name: ventrilo.oldmenonline.net
Port: 3784

no password, no default channel.

Then there's setting up the username and the phonetic pronunciation of your name. You'll have to play with that.

Bindings: None

I'm hoping you followed the link found in the forum links so you have the same version of vent that is used by OMO.

Hope this helps. See you on Vent.
