Personally I prefer the Jack of Diamonds. I don't know why, I just think its a cool card.

After 10 min of intensive research, Ive found this card to be the best bang for the buck in an AGP 8x card. It has a 256 bit interface which is much better than the 128 bit counterpart you might find out there. Also youll have much less problems with drivers and overclocking (if you choose to do so) as Nvidia drivers have the best stability on the market.
Please read the reviews on this card, check the price and compare it to any other card in its performance range. AGP is gonna go soon so I wouldent put much more money than this in it....http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150157

Hey Greybeard,

I was in the same spot this past December with my 9800 Pro. AGP choices are getting slim but there are still some options. Switching to PCI Express means swapping out the MB and perhaps RAM and CPU.

If your looking to upgrade just the video card check out the links below to Tom's Hardware. The first link is to last summers AGP tests. It's a good one to compare your current card against some of the choices. The second link is to benchmark scores for various cards aginst different games and benchmark utilities.
After my research I ended up going with the ATI X850 XT that was on sale at BestBuy for 299.00 (Reg 599.00).

Hope this helps.

If you decide to stay with ATI.... I have a X800 AIW that lists for $269.99 I would be glad to part with for $175.00 plus the shipping. As you would expect, every acc. shown will be included but the box. I think I threw it away im sorry to say. Ive had no problems with it and everything is functional. Im just a Nvidia man and Ill use the cash to replace it with a 6800 or just put my 5950 ultra back in. Ill even send it to you for your pre approval bro....let me know...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102492 btw its the XT and runs at 500/1000 mhz.
