I made some changes in the map list on the current profile. Instead of having the city maps running consecutively, I seperated them with other maps.

The reason was to give a better mix. I think many like the city maps and I know Karkand draws players in earlier most nights but there are many OMOs that I have heard that don't like ground pounding. The problem is if the 3 city maps start that would be 6 rounds of ground pounding and some guys only play 5 or 6 rounds so wouldn't get to fly at all.

So now they will be spaced out with a city map and then a flying type of map. Lets try this a few days and then give some feed back on Friday or Saturday.

i think a mix would be better for the differant kits. i found it harder to be engineer in Sharqi, the city maps seem to favor (for me) medic or assault. it's hard to get a ground defense badge in the city as i wind up defending flags instead...

I like playing "all" the maps, and keeping them all in a rotation sounds great! Good Call!

Hey guys.

Idea for you all. I have pushed the map rotations off on Tread and some of the others for now (after a year of doing it myself I am sick of it) but I got to thinking that for the most part our guys play SF and then BF on either our server or OMO. Some guys like the AF, EF maps and some like more of the city maps rotation. What if we did an every other day thing with your server and ours. Say M, W, F we host City map rotation and on T, H, S, you guys host AF, EF and assorted BF maps? We can have Sunday free or keep doing SF Sundays. This may help both groups. 1) get servers started and flowing earlier in the day. 2) have 2 map rotations going without having to switch up our servers all the time.

I will let Tread know I posted this and let him talk to you all and work things out if your interested.

To be honest im more of a SF fan than anything because of the mostly run and gun maps..Weve all tried rotaions before, ever since the game came out(with HEL and TLB)..They really dont work because committing to playing is more like work than fun. For both communities to have the full exeperience of it, id suggest everyone have Vent(both versions) and TS and hook up with others on whatever clan server you play...Expecially for OMO and BCO. I figure we can run more specialized servers, like the SF 16 player and get more traffic. Vanilla if we run City maps and guys take care of Booster flavor..Both groups have a chance to play what they enjoy most...Any day...

Im working on a way to have all of our members map access to push the map to whatever is available for SF, but BF2CC deonst allow that if it isnt in rotation without stopping the server and loading a new profile..A real pain...

Its all work in progress. With the next patch giving us better #s to get the servers started, and us giving better ideas to the BF2CC guys, there is hope for a better playing experience. Just takes some time and patience, which most of us ont have...LOL

We don't do as many server changes as you guys. We just put all the standard maps in the list and then switch around as the curent group wants. We don't run the EF maps much cus the server loses most of the players so they are at the end of the list.

As far as SF we are still running it on Wednesdays. I don't want it to get more complicated than it needs to be.

We have guys that like to fly and guys that like to run and gun so I just set the profile to alternate them instead of running the same type of maps in a group. That way all will get their type of map every other map.
