An incredibly well fought match by both sides..
first map was Sharqi 32 OMO was on the American side... With an intense battle raging the entire match at the City Entrance Flag (the western most flag) Speciman and Catheter's squad defending.. along with some great Tank manuevering by Lavitra.. Some great Hele flying and gunning by Older and HEART and Hairplug defending TV taking down their chopper we were behind the entire match.. and with the last 60 tickets or so managed to turn it around for about a 20 ticket win!
(Whoever I forgot please POST.. I apologize .. very tired but many many thanks

Then our next map was:

This map was intense the entire battle hinged on the conquest of Reactor ( the upper right base )... and TLB smarty defended the crap out of it but we continued to grab the flags and defend what we had... Our Air support was great but in the end we came up JUST 10 TICKETS SHORT of the win.. 0 - 10

And the then tie breaker... KarKand.........

I'm not sure what happened but TLB left.. so I guess it was a Forfeit....
I'll take the WIN

where was Festus??

Loads of fun, great teamwork to come back that first match. Everybody did a great job. Good commanding Dementia. The best part was I got -138 teamkills the second match before it started. Lots of fun!

lol, it was a fun couple rounds. Your Entrnace defenders on Sharqi were quite tenacious. When we finally rooted them out and captured the flag, they reappeared (a secret spawn point?). We lost all the flags briefly and bled too much to win. Good job.

We thought Dalian would be really bad since none of our jet or heli pilots were around any longer. Then next thing you know and the match was going live! After some inprovising, we finally pulled it together and were able to take cover from the jets and hold enough flags to bleed you down.

By then, I had several that had to leave, it was already 2 1/2 hrs, then my connection dropped in mid-chat message. Don't put down that Karkand win just yet! We are willing to reschedule a tie-breaker, just name when.

Good game guys. Yeah, no Festus, he's been away.

We probably should put a time limit on the rounds. I was exhausted after the first round. Normally a scrim would be 2 rounds on each map. I'm not sure why we switched but was under the impression TLB requested it. It should have been 2 rounds on Sharqi and 2 rounds on Dalian. Who ever had the most wins won the scrim and if tied would go to a tie breaker. We would have been playing until 2am tho. Oh wait a minute I think I played nearly that long anyway :)

I guess we shouldhave a 30 minute time limit... my god 1 1/2 of fighting on Sharqi .. my butt started to hurt sitting that long.. I actually had to stand up run to the refrigerator mid-round for another beer.

I think thats when we lost City Entrance but then gained it back

Yeah, what Rigor said. Too bad Festy wasn't there to shoot at though. Maybe for the rematch the opportunity will arise. Fuddy doesn't have too many more gigs in the near future so we might get to play next time.

A DRAW? YOU AND YOUR ARMY DESERTED THE BATTLEFIELD SOLDIER!

The official OMO record book now reads:

OMO vs TLB
1 win, no losses

We won't mention what the rest of the entries read.

I understand you are The Lazy Bastards, but are you that lazy to finish a match? I will call it a win just to motivate you lazy bastards to stick around until a winner is crowned and a loser is vanquished in the REMATCH.

BTW in the chat from the end of the match, you indicated that we could consider it a win if we wanted. Given we are desparate for a victory, I assume all the OMOs will take it.

The way to shorten the rounds is to play the 16 player maps, reduce the tickets on the 32 player maps, Festus plays, TLB quits after the first round, OMOs don't show up on time and forfeits, etc.

Yeah, I said you could call it whatever you wanted just before my connection dropped.

But now I feel that this is unfinished. So maybe we can meet again later.

Man I was bummmed at the end of the Shaqi round General shot me at Hotel and I went desktop.. and I was COMMANDING!.. couldn't even enjoy the win.. anywho... most would agree in OMO.. the evening was the evening... OMO went on to continue playing for several hours after you guys bolted in fear..

SO if you guys want to have a rematch thats fine..

we can do 32 player maps with a time limit. or 16 player maps with none.

PM me and we'll set it up as the TLB-OMO GRUDGE MATCH !

This is OMO. We don't have a stellar record in scrims. Our first victory was tainted by the opponent telling us they had a bunch of no shows and two members sent their kids in place of them, including a elementary school age daughter... Continuing, or second victory was against.......we will have to get back to you on that.

BTW, don't take my comments too seriously, mostly poking fun at you and the OMOs that scrim (or think they scrim).

Dementia I set the scrim profile for a 40 min. time limit. If we need to set it back to 30 that's fine. I feel like anyone should be able to make 2hrs 40min. but I play more than that almost every night :)

At least you crashed at the end Dementia. Halfway through Sharqi, my computer overheated and froze. I had to restart the whole computer. I come back in game asking where all our flags went.

I'm not sure that time limit was working. We only did 2 rounds that whole time.

We wouldn't mind scrimming on an Armored Fury or EuroForce map, we need some practice on those.
