Cack said he learnd it from Older..LOL..I personally dont have a problem with it..It is a beatable tactic, just as many other "annoyong" or "cheap" tactica as people complain of them..YOu always hear of walker whoring or APM whoring or even my favorite of the shotgun (which I am now at #58)..If it has a counter attack I dont see where there is room to complain...I think it no worse than any of the other tactics that are pulled, as long as your not suiciding or TKing on purpose. But as always we have server rules that are made by majority that still have to be enforced, so you know how that goes., but yea really no worse than camping a flag with a walker instead of getting close to take a flag and possible being destroyed or buggy bombing to get rid of such tactics..Its all fair gameplay, but I guess everyone has opionions on the subject.
Oh and as far as CAL stuff, The mostly play the small maps that dont have uncaps so one team can be overrun..or that how BF2 was, Not real sure of 2142. Kinda miss playing them though.

anywho.. my 2 cents.
We're not Cal.
In 2142 when using the POD spawning it enables some mobility..... In fact when I POD spawn OFF an Aircraft and Spin my trackball.. I can actually fly to the next silo rather than the one we're hovering over... Is this a cheat or an exploit? I dont believe so, I could get killed just as easily at the next Silo. So if you POD spawn and manenur yourself onto a rooftop .. even Drop a new Spawn Beacon.. When both teams do it you then begin engaging the enemy on the rooftops and it becomes a Roof fight.. It's actually kinda fun... You can get killed from an Orbital strike up there very easily there is no cover..
I think that it;s just inovative.. like when an Engineer on the opposite team places Obital MINES ontop of the forcefield above the airships.. you can easily manuevr to avoid them .. but if you're not aware its an easy kill for the other team.. just keeps you on your toes.

I love placing mines on top the field of the opposing Titan. 
Yeah, there are annoying tactics period, but like Tread said: things can be countered. The beacon spawning on roof tops is counterable and Cadaver knows I give him Hell when I am commanding on the opposing team and he does that. 
Buggy Bombing is annoying, but no more than beacon spin offs. Still... your server your rules. We'll keep to our rules.

Interesting bit of information - I have noticed that alot of people like playing Berlin on 64 players. I have tried it and found it great fun. I spoke with the level designer and he was horrified at first since the map was not intended to be played with that many.
When he saw that it was popular and a lot of fun he became happy and said (loosely) "well if its fun then great.......didnt think they would like that".
So - we have found we need to keep an open mind because you guys will do things we dont expect and a lot of time its a lot of fun.
The main thing is fun. If you guys find something going on in your server that you and your friends do not find fun then use your powers to create the environment you want. But we dont want to make official policy or hard code settings when we dont have to as it limits the variety open to you guys as players.

Yep. Just means we are welcome ot do it on our server since we find it is not game breaking and that it is fun while with the BCO it is a No-No.
Would love to get banned from their server for having a fun time however.

Can't believe that the tactic is that important to you, but to each his own.
It's a hot topic and EA is on one side and all the Leagues (TWL, CAL, etc) are on the other.
I wasn't even sure if you guys were still doing it on your server or not, so it's good to see that your still OK with it. I will let Tread know so that he can exploit it (er, I mean use it) when he plays on your server. LOL

All you need is a competent commander and a sniper to remove the roof top beaconers. Trust me, I kill Cadaver repeatedly when they try this against me and I am commanding the opposing team.

To me its a beatable tactic, I used it on TLB last night, they dont seem to have a problem with it or much of an uncap rule either, unless you are in armor. we all have our views on how the game should be played, but I just like killing people..lol

Bloody, the OmO's have been on our server, quite a bit lately.
Older and Cadaver and Catheter especially, seen medicated and others too.
i can honestly say they've respected our server rules while playing
(what they may say in thier private forum's something else =)
i for one appreciate the way the OmO's have respected our rules,
as opposed to the random smacktard spawncampin pubbers.
i hope ALL OmO's feel welcomed, as i have on thier server...

Bloody, thanks for not noticing me playing on your server. The only time Cadaver or I (we are generally the only ones who can do it) use the roof spawn is if we need to (Fall of Berlin on the attacking side) in order to move past first flags or defending Gibraltar (back flags) if we are getting spanked. Neither one of us use it just to rack up kills (although it was fun when we first figured it out).
I think the perception that we aren't on your server is a reflection of the diminished activity level by OMO 2142 players. I will say there was a period of time where I wasn't playing much on the BCO server because I really don't like the randomize teams at the end round that was on the 20 player server. The bigger crowd generally starts later in the evening. When there are a few OMO looking for a server (not enough to start our own server), we tend to try to find servers with autobalance turned off so we can eventually play on the same side. The 32 player BCO server has it turned off, so we end up there sometime.

Yeah, just to add: I typically join later in the evening so I end up playing on whatever server the majority of OMOs are playing on. Be it BCO or other.

So you haven't noticed me on several times in the past week? And you didn't notice me on your BF1942 server this past Saturday? If what you are trying to accomplish with this post is to make me feel not welcome, you have succeeded. The BCO servers are off of my favorites list.

OMG,
Relax.
I did notice you on the 1942 server and it was fun.
I only play a couple rounds at night, so I just don't see you guys that much I guess.
I was making a joke. I guess I have to spell out my jokes here.
No harm meant.
I will stop posting over here. I will let Tread and Burns do the posting for us. I don't want to make any jokes and have someone take it the wrong way again.
