I lived and seem to be recovering, there is a new zipper running from the base of my skull to my shoulder, and now no lump or mole looking thing.

I can be up for short times, not wanting to put too much tension on the staples for too long.

I hope to be back in "Play Mode" tomorrow.

Thanks all for the thoughts and Prayers, I could feel them and know they helped!

Hey SM glad to hear it went well!

Novus Ordo Seclorum

Knowledge is power... has been since time eternal. Arcane knowledge is thereby ultimate power and can
therefore lead to ultimate corruption. Wisdom (and the experience that comes with age) is a serum for corruption.
Perhaps that is why there are so many Old Men with Arcane knowledge and so few young ones...

I had staples when they took my gall bladder out, it leaves a funny scar. At least you didn't have a drainage tube in there did you ?

If the problem isn't solved, there are still survivors you missed.

Nope, thanks no tube, I wore one when my appendix was taken out, and that wasn't fun, even though it was only in for about 12 hours.
I got the bad patient award for the week I was in there. My gut shut down and I had to stay til I could fart!
They had me walking from the first day after surgery, and I was board, so I walked down into the next wing. I saw a nurse wheeling a big TV with game console into a kids room. I asked her what that was, and she said it was a game and video system for the 'kids' who had extended hospital stays.
The next day I walked down and the kid was playing, I introduced myself and we played, had a great time! about two hours later his nurse walked in and asked whom I was, I told her I was from the next wing, she asked if I was Mr. X and I said yes, she told me they had security looking all over for me! and I better get down there and report in.
I did and couldn't walk afterwards without an escort from the hospital.
hehehe, the kid left the next day and I had the games in my room for a day!
