Great, yet another road bump to spread OMO out even thinner. I have attempted to download it a couple of times, but gave up due to the connection speed to the download server.

I hear ya Older. I do hope we come back together and we did have a big showing here the other night. It's fun, day, night, rain, dawn, lot's of challenging terrain and good times with da boyz. Git yer 2142 boyz to check it if you get the DL and you like it too.
I'm still trying to figure when the OMO bot target shooters are going to check into a LIVE game.

It has its charms. Liken it to ground pounding in rice paddies and jungle instead of building to building. One map I spent the most of the time running through a dark jungle and had no idea where to run. After a while I kind of figured out the routine. What would work well since you have groups running from flag to flat is to set traps with motion mines and dynomite and just wait for the groups to run through. THAT may be fun..

Next release will have more vehicles to whore. LOL
I love the mod, as does BCO Sharpshooter. We have a few others that play here and there, but not a lot. My group is all wrapped up in WoW, Golf and 2142.
Please. Feel free to use our server whenever you want. I would even consider giving one or two of you some admin rights on it if you guys want to use it a lot.

i got the client from Internode. Fast, was even an exe
(the other DL sites were rar)
the only problem i have with EoD is i sit in a (our) deserted server, while Bloody's off "playing with the developer". it is sad that i got talked into playing this mod, and the guy who talked me into it won't even play on his very own server.

It definitely takes a large group of dedicated clan members (ok, "club" members, w/e) to keep a EoD server active. At any given time I only see one, maybe two EoD servers with 20+ players, and these tend to have 10 or more clan/club members on it. Tonight it was the "Ar" group out of Chicago, on others it has been the OBC's. Ninjaserve which I think is just a public server was active for a while, but even that has been vacant as of late.

Yeah, last night Sharp and I were on OBC, then it crashed and we went over to AR for a couple rounds. I ran into a couple OMOs while there.

i have no idea where every one is. like Cadaver says,
it takes a group to keep a server going, and our group
never plays our server.

Sharp and I usually are on late (11 - 12 pm EST). I only get about 1 hour a night usually, so it's hard for me to pin things down.
As for Burns, KJ gets on Vent and gives me (sometimes us if Sharp is around too) a hard time and makes us feel like we should be sitting in our empty server. Not me, I did it for years with BF2 and I will not waist the very little playing time I get now a days on sitting around. I want to play on servers with people, you know, a real game?

Yeah.,.. I'm gonna go with burnzz here. Tonight, for the first time ever, we had a server that was running. Not to mention, for the first time ever, Bloody played on the server. 6 people isn't a lot, but it's been 6 more than we've ever had before except for when DCon was running on it.
I would play on it, but EoD sucks my ballz. Seriously, the guns are either hyper-acurate or totally off. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, one shoots to the right every time. True, it's nice that the sniper rifle gives the one-hitter-quitter, but not when you shoot people in the leg.
If it was DCon, there would be more people playing in the BF2 mods channel and on our server. IMO, we probably could have gotten a game going every night if it was DCon. Heck, we could have even gotten to the point where we would have to kick people to make room. Just remember this (and this is for everyone); full servers always started with one or two people sitting there waiting for people to come (technicaly, it's called starting up the server). How else did you think we (the OMOs, the BCOs, everyone) got the BF2 and 2142 servers so packed that we had to kick people for their buddies. And if I remember correctly, it was Keen, Lt., and I that usually would get on around 4pm PST to start up the BCO BF2 server.
I would say more, but I have been warned on our forums for stating the facts without pointing fingers. The truth hurts.

Jeez I knew Bloody was a total loser!!! I hear ya though Bloody time is tight these days. I ain't got the sit around the comp time that I've had in recent years. I think EoD kicks @$$ not suck balls. Why do we have to talk about anatomy anyway? It's a good mod. I tried to talk up the DCon here too. It's tough getting anything start here at OMO. Sound like you guys the same "issues". I'd really like to try and play a night of each per week. I've got limited time these days with this new job so the weekend would be best. Try and get a night Bloody. btw I'm outta town this weekend :)
