Ok guys i got it, and looks and plays good, but i cant seem to get my controls set up like BF2, any suggestions?

which controls RT? the crouch and run stuff?

CoD 4 offers up a few more options then what BF2 has, but I've managed to mimic my BF2 controls in CoD4 and I have a very odd control setup.

I'm sure if you play around with it some more, you'll get it.

Like Sting says there are actually more options... I think for doing prone like BF you want to use "toggle prone" and for doing crouch like BF, use "Go to crouch."

I think the one BF2 control option that can't be mimicked in COD is the double-forward control for sprinting.

And then there are macros...

The leaning options seem to be good for out of windows. not so good around corners.

oh and I don't think anyone is using the Voip.

I set my crouch as a switch - not holding the key down to use it.

Same with prone.

right click to use the sights and right click to turn them off. (might change that)

Leaning = unobstructed head shot.

I don't see to many peeps using it, I never have in any game that offered it. Never had the coordination to make it work.

Ok no matter what the number pad section of the keybord doesnt work in CoD4, anyone know why?For the prone and crouch, i use ins,0 key for crouch,and the . key for prone,but it doesnt work for cod4.

Make sure you are getting the choice set, I had a problem with it not saving it, then there is choosing between the toggle and the one that switches to the different positions.

thats ok , i went out and got the Fang from Zboard, im hoping this will make it alot easier.

The fang works great for playing and saves a lot of pounding on your keyboard.

I use lean a lot. It's great for ambushing people and seeing your next point of cover. I played that new sniper map the other day using left lean the entire round. LOL. I got in one of the back tree blinds and then got behind the right hand wall and then leaned left. I just held the left lean and started plunking people all over the map. I went something like 22 / 1 that round. One guy said I was hacking and the guys on my team stood up for me saying "no he has a great position and is leaning into it". I got killed just after they said that (bastages. lol)

The game is ok ,but seems almost pointless running and gunning all the time, no vehicles either makes it boring after a few rounds.Maps seem small.I dunno ,this game just doesnt have the umph that makes me wanna play it much.I'll prolly stick to good ol BF series games.But i like crysis more n more when i play it.

You just need to play a few rounds with us. give it a couple hours, get a few upgrades,learn a few maps. Then let us know how you like it.

Leaning works great if you have the right angle and cover.

As for VOIP: I've heard a few people using it on servers that have it enabled, but I think so many groups have their own VOIP, they don't bother with in game ones - especially given the annoyances associated with some youngsters.
