Well I think everybody has had a chance to experience all the weapons and perks.
What has your favourite boiled down to?
Mine is the:
G3 with iron sights with silencer
Perk 1 - Bomb squad
Perk 2 - UAV Jammer
Perk 3 - Dead Silence
What's yours?
Perks
Perk 1: C4 x2, Special Grenades, RPG-7 x2, Claymore x2, Frag x3 - Unlocked at Colonel I (Lv41), Bandolier - Unlocked at Captain I (Lv32), Bomb Squad
Perk 2: Stopping Power, Juggernaut, Sleight of Hand, Double Tap - Unlocked at (Lv29), Overkill - Unlocked at (Lv38) - Lets you carry two primary weapons!, UAV Jammer, Sonic Boom
Perk 3: Extreme Conditioning, Steady Aim, Last Stand, Martyrdom, Deep Impact, Iron Lungs, Dead Silence - Unlocked at (Lv44), Eavesdrop - Unlocked at (Lv35)

Mine changes all the time depending on the map. Right now I'm using the G3 silenced with last stand,3 frags and juggernaught.
I like the P90 or Skorpion for tighter small maps.
It seems like all the weapons work really well depending on how you use them.

I was a big G3 fan boy until I started working on my gold M60 and spent some time behind the M249 SAW with Red Dot. It does everything I want it to do and more. 
Has very little kick, shoots amazingly straight and accurate, helpful in taking down helo's, and I can clear a room out shooting through walls.
Perks 1= Claymore
2= Stopping Power
3= Deep Impact
Still hunt with the G3 from time to time, shoots like a laser and powerful, but is boring compared to an lmg.

The Saw is the only weapon that has worked out for me. I can shoot through walls and almost never have to reload, probably because I die before I have to. get the Red dot scope too.
Perk 1 RPG. It takes skill to use this weapon unlike the noob tube. Plus I like shooting bypass in the face with it.
Perk 2. double tap, the saw is already fast but it like nuts with DT. The saw already packs a big punch, no since in getting stopping power IMO.
Perk 3. Last stand. The saw can already shoot through building with out Deep impact to I opted for Last stand to shoot bypass as he's shooting me with last stand.
My favorite fun gun is the AK74 with silencer, double tap and deep impact. it's very good close range but sucks for long range. Plus you have reload...a lot.
