BF2 stopped working with the surround sound speakers. The back two are silent. The test in logitechs system works. The test in windows control panel works. However in game the back speakers don't make a sound. I have done this "tweak" for Vista http://www.blackviper.com/WinVista/servicecfg.htm and installed SP1 in the past 2 days. What up?

We need a "saved for future reference" place to put all Vista information. When I install it sometime in the distant future I can refer to all this. Hope it helps someone else too!

Vista wtf is that? hahahaha What a joke. Who ever the code writers were on vista mush have never seen a previous version of windows or were out to destroy MS. My gf has a new laptop with vista and nothing is intuitive. You have to search for everything. You don't even get menues when you right click on things. WTF?

Mine works ok! I assume the SOUND dialog for SPEAKERS is set to 5.1 vs Headset or stereo?

Creative drivers truly suck! You think they'd know what to do by now!

Great sound cards with a bad reputation on the drivers side. I knew that going into it. What a pain though.

ditto. I had problems with having to reset my mike and sound stuff last night. I guess I shouldn't shut my computer off with a SB card inside.
