I've been playing around with a Talladega qual setup and I'm just not getting the kind of times I want. The best I can manage is a 50.754. I'd like to get down to 50.1 - 50.2.
Can you take a look at my setup and tell me what you think?

What I can't figure out is why my speed maxes out at 187. People are telling me that they're running 50.1s and speeds of 189-190 using Bob Stanley's qual setup. The replay above uses his setup too. I'm at 186 in the turns and 187 on the straights. How can people be hitting those speeds? My line isn't great, so I'd expect not to run a great time. But, I ought to be able to hit the same max speed shouldn't I? (especially considering how little speed I'm losing in the turns)
I just don't get it. Maybe my wheel is out of calibration?
