Futuremark has a virtual benchmarking tool that seems to be really close to the full 3Dmark06 program. My virtual mark was within 16 points of my actual score and only takes about a min to run.

its not a download. theres an active x thing to click and the site runs a virtual bench on your machine. At the end if you read the page your score is displayed there...on the upper right quarter of the page.
Just ran it again at 3.3 ghz/ 1100mhz ram. Got a 13100. Gotta run the real 3dmk06 now to see the diff.

All it does is looks at your system and then "guesses" a score based on all the scores of similar set ups from 3DMark/Vantage users. My guess is also that if you have dual cards your score will be much higher than single, but you would only see the real results of that on very high settings and resolution. It is a good fast "guesstimate" though.
I got a 14800 just now.Guess those new drivers do make a difference. Q6600@ 3.24 ghz/9800GTX. My ram is faster now too, from 1000mhz to 1150+.
