Sorry it's Xbox, but you can at least get the idea. Looks like sniper map for sure. Map is called Cliffside.

Well, made lvl 13 in one sitting and completed a lot of challenges. Have all my setup done and love free for all as well as all the maps. Ive killed 3 semis full of dogs too.

We have something to do again as a group guys!

I thought the same thing, but I'm actually enjoying the game.

It's not perfect but gets the job done. What's the alternative?

I personally love the WWII and Vietnam stuff much more than the "modern or post modern" BS we have seen the last few years. I am loving this game. IMHO, this one is much better than COD4. Not to say that COD4 is bad, etc, but this one has much more "feel" to it and much more interesting. Every thing from the dogs, arty, tanks, weapons, sounds, looks, locations, it's just all much more interesting to me at least.

The only issue I have with the game is...... Stingray. lol

I can't get COD5 to run at all! Still researching!

The game has few problems if any. The more I play it, the more natural it feels. Im winning rounds of FFA!.......so i like it. The maps are big enough that stealth works over run and gun tactics. But Arent so big as to waste round time finding the enemy. Looks like a must buy to me. Im having problems getting it to display 1680x, but it may be the demos limitation. I havent researched it because im too busy playing.

I'm just burned out on FPS in general. rumor has it that a warhammer 40k FPS MMO might be comming out but I think that might be wishful thinking on my part.

I've been running Vista 32 for 1.5 years. Everything runs that I throw at it but this. What Start button Bloody? Oh, the Green ball....yes sir I did sir!

I'm running an Athlon 4800+ dual core, 2 GB mem, 8800GTS (new driver). Vanilla!

I start the demo, black window pops, black window recedes and then an error dialog from Vista saying error in program. I deleted and reinstalled, no luck. I didn't re-download though, maybe I have a bad package.

Vista hasn't found the problem yet but it's still looking. Vista does a great job of informing you what the solution to problems are and even suggests the download location and will take care of the fix for you. but this one is tough.

Have you tried to change your sound settings?

The reason I say this is others in the COD forums have said that on Vista they have fixed similar issues by going into the Vista sound settings and changing them. May be worth messing with.

I second the sound setting issues. Running an AC97 or onboard sound card? Some are having luck by updating to the latest sound card drivers.

Few other tweaks out their but you really need to visit the beta forums.

AC97 and Barracuda both use Cmedia chips.
